BTG are really proud of their staff and make a real commitment to training, so that you, the customer, receives the best possible service and value for money. We are really proud to have had our ethos recognised by being awarded the accolade of Best Wholesaler of the Year two years running by readers of Party Times at the NEC's International Party Show.
So we thought that you might like to know a little about the people you might meet if you come to The Old Church, or hear on the telephone:
Colin RenwickColin is the MD of Balloons To Go!. He's had over 30 years experience in the balloon business and was one of the original pioneers of the modern industry. An exponent of good management, he holds the Diploma in Company Direction from the IOD. Proud of his hands on approach, he also manages The Kite & Balloon Company, which holds the World Record Balloon Release. (You can see a video of this via the Home Page). Colin is a NABAS Approved Trainer, has been the Industry Spokesman on the environment, was Chairman of the NABAS Training Committee and, in his spare time, is a Trustee & Council Member for a national childrens charity.
Pippa Beattie
Pippa has been in the balloon industry since 2000 and runs her own successful party business. Pippa achieved her status as a NABAS approved trainer in 2004 and has taught regularly at Balloons To Go! since then. She is responsible for general admin. training, accounts and like all BTG staff regularily serves in the Cash & Carry. Pippa is a qualified CBA.
Julie Green
Julie the senior member of our customer facing team and has been at BTG since 2006.This is her first job having spent her years bringing up 3 children. She has undergone extensive balloon technical training and a customer care course, acheiving NVQ level 2. Julie is a natural grafter and never stops, she enjoys her work and very much enjoys assisting our customers.
Callum Godfrey
Callum has been at Balloons To Go since 2008. He is responsible for customer service and purchasing latex balloons and Balloon Gas. Callum has undergone extensive training and holds an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service as well as level 2 in Technical Service. He is trained to communication skills level 1. Not satisfied with that he is completing his CBA and will shortly undergo Supervisary Training at NVQ level
